About
Curiosity, put to work.
Aqrya is an independent practice bringing together CFD experience, OpenFOAM workflow knowledge, and purposeful software development.
Background
10+
years in CFD.
My experience spans work as a CFD support engineer, PhD research, a diploma thesis, and student projects. Across those roles, I have worked close to the practical questions that determine whether a simulation workflow is useful, understandable, and dependable.
Following an ambitious CFD meshing initiative in 2020—which brought my concept to the patent-application stage, including an application tied directly to HPSE—I transitioned into industrial automation software. Over the next few years, I grew from a software developer into a Product Manager, gaining invaluable experience in product strategy.
Before something becomes simple, one has to deal with its complexity.
I am now returning to the CFD field, where the complexity is part of the fun. While I still think about building the ultimate mesher, my focus is first on a practical tool: oFuF, which helps make OpenFOAM case setup easier to inspect while helping me rebuild and deepen my own knowledge.
Method
Method &
Mindset.
My development process relies heavily on modern AI. Building software this way feels less like solo coding and more like Tony Stark working with J.A.R.V.I.S.—using AI as a force multiplier to rapidly prototype, iterate, and handle boilerplate, while I focus on system architecture, code integrity, and user experience.
This approach allows me to maintain a relentless focus on creating high-quality, practical tools without getting bogged down by routine syntax. It bridges the gap between complex engineering concepts and rapid, dependable execution.
Approach
Reliable tools.
Clear workflows.
Serious intent.
I care about building software that earns its place in an engineer’s daily routine. The ultimate goal isn't complexity for its own sake, but managing that complexity with a simple routine for unlocking better ways to investigate data, improve designs, and safely move engineering work forward.
